Now celebrating its first anniversary, the Amazónico Asado has firmly established itself as one of Mayfair’s most vibrant weekend dining rituals. Introduced in September 2024 at the celebrated Berkeley Square restaurant, this Weekend Lunch Menu continues to attract guests every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until 4pm, bringing the rich culinary traditions of the Amazon to London.

Curated by Group Executive Chef Vitelio Reyes, the Amazónico Asado is a sensory celebration of Latin American feasting, designed to be shared in true South American style. Priced at £65 per person, the menu unfolds as a journey through flavour, beginning with Pão de Queijo, Brazilian cassava bread, and Amazónico’s signature guacamole with red chilli and crispy plantain. Guests then enjoy Amazónico’s international favourites, from the vibrant Ensalada Amazónica (mango, avocado, confit tomato, kalamansi citrus) to Aguachile, a Mexican-style stone bass ceviche with jalapeño and avocado cream. A seasonal highlight from the Nikkei-inspired sushi counter, the Maki del Chef, continues to showcase the Asian influences that flow through Amazonian gastronomy.

The centrepiece remains the Parrilla Mixta, a theatrical mixed grill platter designed for sharing. Dishes such as Espetada (Brazilian-inspired chicken thighs), Chancho (crispy pork belly), Cordero (grilled lamb rump) and Lomo de Aguja (chimichurri-marinated Denver steak) are accompanied by sides of chargrilled broccoli and carrots with panela, truffle-dressed mixed leaves, and sweetcorn with panca chilli butter. The feast closes with the Guineo, Amazónico’s playful reimagining of a banana split.

What makes the Amazónico Asado distinctive is its seasonal spirit. The menu adapts throughout the year, with ingredients and dishes evolving to reflect changing flavours and produce. This December, a Festive Asado will join the line-up, offering a celebratory twist for the holiday period, ensuring that regulars and new diners alike have fresh reasons to return.

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, the Amazónico concept was born in Madrid in 2016 before expanding to London and Dubai in 2019. With Monte-Carlo joining in 2024 and Miami on the horizon for 2025, Amazónico’s international footprint continues to grow, each location paying homage to the vibrancy of the Amazon through food, music and design.
In London, internationally renowned designer Lázaro Rosa-Violan has created an interior that flows like the river itself, natural woods, terracotta tones and lush planting transport guests into a rainforest-inspired escape. By day, live Bossa nova and Cuban jazz set the tone, by night, the lounge and striking bar transform with ‘elec-tropical’ DJ sets that carry energy through to the weekend. For private occasions, the 22-seat rainforest dining room offers exclusivity, while the Nikkei sushi counter invites a more informal yet immersive dining experience.

The Amazónico Asado has matured into more than a menu, it is now a weekend tradition, where feasting, music, and atmosphere come together in a celebration of Latin American culture. Social yet stylish, sensory yet seasonal, it captures the very essence of Amazónico’s ethos, a journey of discovery, passion and shared experience.
In true Mayfair fashion, this is a dining ritual that elevates the weekend, with a spirit as dynamic and evolving as the Amazon itself.
