Mandarin Oriental is set to debut its first urban resort in north-western China, with the opening of Mandarin Oriental, Xi’an in 2029. Blending imperial heritage with refined contemporary design, the property will offer 166 elegant rooms and suites, each with outdoor terraces, alongside seven private pool villas and natural hot spring experiences.
At the heart of the resort will be The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, featuring immersive wellness rituals, a 50 metre indoor outdoor infinity pool, and exclusive spring pavilions. Five signature dining destinations and a 1,200 square metre ballroom with park views will complete the offering.
Designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS, the resort promises understated elegance inspired by the seasons and cultural richness of Xi’an, home to the Terracotta Warriors and 13 ancient dynasties. A defining opening that reimagines urban retreat for the modern luxury traveller.
