The culinary world turns its gaze once again to Monaco, where the celebrated French pastry maestro, Cedric Grolet, has officially unveiled his newest destination, Cedric Grolet Monte-Carlo. Nestled within the elegant patio of the legendary Hôtel de Paris, this exquisite tea room and boutique marks a new chapter for the “Best Pastry Chef in the World” as recognised by the 50 Best in 2018.
More than just a patisserie, this refined address blends artistry, precision, and decadence in a manner only Grolet can deliver. Known globally for his sculptural fruit desserts and immaculate attention to detail, Grolet now brings his signature creations to the Riviera, offering Monegasque locals and international guests an experience that is both visually captivating and profoundly indulgent.

This grand opening also coincides with Grolet’s appointment as Executive Pastry Chef of the Prince’s Palace, a prestigious role that cements his presence in the principality. Located on the iconic Place du Casino, the Monte-Carlo outpost echoes the elegance and glamour that define Monaco, while infusing it with Grolet’s signature blend of modernity and French tradition.
Stéphane Valeri, Président-Délégué of SBM, expressed his delight in welcoming Chef Grolet to the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, applauding the collaborative efforts between the hotel’s General Management, the Construction and Built Heritage Department of SBM, and Grolet’s dedicated team, a partnership that has brought this extraordinary project to life with impeccable finesse.

Whether for a leisurely afternoon tea, a luxurious takeaway, or an indulgent interlude amidst the grandeur of Monte-Carlo, Cedric Grolet Monte-Carlo is poised to become a new beacon of taste and refinement on the Riviera.
