Introducing “Industry Insights”, a new editorial feature from The Luxe Resident spotlighting global trends, brand movements, and visionary shifts shaping the future of luxury hospitality.
Luxury hospitality is undergoing a powerful evolution. No longer confined to traditional hubs like Paris, London, and Dubai, the industry is expanding across continents, redefining where and how modern luxury is experienced.

Once an untapped frontier, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is now positioning itself as the next global epicentre of luxury, with Riyadh rumoured to be outshining even Dubai in its ambition and exclusivity. Driven by Saudi Vision 2030, a bold economic diversification plan, we’re witnessing landmark investments in world-class resorts, entertainment zones, and hospitality. The Red Sea Project, AMAALA and Diriyah Gate are architectural marvels and symbols of a new travel future.

Miami, too, is reclaiming its design-led lifestyle status. The reopening of Delano Hotels under Ennismore sets the tone. Los Mochis, known for its upscale Mexican-Japanese fusion, is rumoured to launch in Miami, alongside a much-anticipated opening by the Thesleff Group. Culinary powerhouses like Estiatorio Milos have expanded to West Palm Beach, setting the tone for sophisticated indulgence in South Florida.

In Asia, the evolution is steady and sophisticated. Accor ’s growth, particularly through its Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, is shaping wellness-led and experience-rich stays. Meanwhile, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Six Senses Hotels, Resorts, Spas continues to lead in sustainable luxury, with openings in Japan, London, and further expansion across Portugal, including Six Senses Lisbon. Their focus remains on immersive design, heritage architecture, and holistic well-being.
India is rising. The upcoming Fairmont Udaipur Palace is set to open in July 2025, all set within 18 acres in the Aravalli Hills. Europe remains timeless yet newly invigorated. Portugal is attracting serious attention. In Vilamoura, the Victoria Golf Resort & Spa is being rebranded as a Fairmont property, just 30 minutes from Faro International Airport, bringing together golf, natural beauty, and understated elegance.

PARIS SOCIETY is expanding with intent. In Dubai, it’s partnered with RIKAS Hospitality Group opening five new beach clubs and restaurants, including Gigi Rigolatto and Maison Revka, bringing Riviera charm and Slavic flair to the UAE. In Istanbul, their arrival with Mondaine de Pariso weaves Parisian chic into the cultural fabric that already exists.

Across the globe, one theme stands out, luxury is becoming more experiential, rooted in culture, and emotionally intelligent. We’re moving beyond uniform opulence toward spaces that tell stories, where design, wellness, and identity converge to create places that don’t just impress, but connect.
