Missoni makes a striking debut on the Portuguese real estate landscape with Aroeria Collections by Missoni, a residential and hospitality project that blends the brand’s design language with architectural integrity and natural harmony. Situated just 30 minutes south of Lisbon in Aroeira, this €200 million development spans over 350 hectares along the pristine Costa da Caparica. Its centrepiece, The Aroeria Collections Hotel, will offer 138 suites, while the wider complex includes apartments, family homes, and luxury villas designed for elegant, intentional living.

Curated by Missoni’s creative director Alberto Caliri in collaboration with renowned Portuguese architects Ana Costa, João Favila Meneses, and Pedro Domingos, the project is a celebration of art, light, and place. Interiors will feature Missoni’s signature motifs, iconic patterns and vibrant colours, in a palette of timeless elegance, while also honouring local heritage through recreations of Daciano da Costa’s iconic furniture. The result is a space that feels deeply rooted in both creative expression and Portuguese design tradition.

Beyond aesthetics, sustainability is at the heart of this project. The development aligns with EU taxonomy and ESG principles, incorporating native plants for landscaping and adhering to LEED certification standards for sustainable construction.
