GEM Opening at the Historic Gemert Castle

The historic Gemert Castle is poised to enter an exciting new era, soon joining Hilton’s distinguished Curio Collection by Hilton. At the heart of this transformation lies the opening of GEM, a refined culinary destination led by two-Michelin-starred chef Soenil Bahadoer.

Set within the castle’s 14th-century gatehouse, GEM will seat 40 to 50 guests and promises a sophisticated yet intimate dining experience. As Bas van de Laar, CEO of the estate, puts it: “With the opening of GEM, visitors will get a taste of the ultimate luxury that awaits the guests of the future five-star superior hotel.”

The project is being managed by Black Label Hotels, under the leadership of Martin Hendricks, who brings a wealth of experience in luxury hospitality development. The pre-opening phase is guided by Marc Alofs and Bart Bloemmen, with Joost van der Minne MBA set to take on daily management of the property.
